Harvesters  Annual Lake District Long Weekend 30th April - 4th May 2010 at Glaramara, Seatoller, Borrowdale, Cumbria - see www.glaramara.co.uk and www.harvesterstogether.org.uk 

The hotel has a helpful, friendly and professional staff and it provides comfortable accommodation and superb cuisine. There is a pleasant bar, and also a warm log fire in the large sitting room which looks out on the very beautiful surrounding mountains. 

The hotel is a very comfortable mountain centre which specialises in accommodating groups for walking etc. It provides all the expertise and equipment for specialist Mountain Leader Training, and aims to become recognised as a National centre of Excellence. If you would like to join us for early May bank holiday long weekend 2010 please book as soon as possible.  

Early May's a great time of the year when new-born lambs are numerous but crowds of visitors aren't, and the weather is often more mild then and has been very bright and sunny. Although the Lake District is also known for it's high rainfall, early May holiday is often sunny. We had one wet day but still did walks.  

This fun-packed group holiday is for 4 nights or can be 3 nights for you if preferred. 

Price £204 for 4 nights or £153 for 3 nights.

 We have a few single and several twin rooms still available as of 29.01.10.

June 26th to July 3rd or 4th one week in ELBA. Accommodation cost (self catering) will be about £120 for the week self catering and flights range from about £130 including all extras with Ryanair flying to Pisa. It will be possible to stay one night extra in Pisa to give a chance to look around Pisa and this would entail extra costs of one night in a hotel in Pisa.

Below in red are flights that three people in the group have booked, but so far one other of the group has booked to come back on the same midday flight but on 3/7/2010 and another has booked to fly from Heathrow, so all these flight options mean you could fly out and back with others from the group.

There will be an option for 3 days cycling, but you are welcome to come as a non-cyclist also - please check if other non-cyclists are coming. The aim is that it is a reasonably leisurely holiday, with cycle rides of no more than 35 miles a day for those who want this option, and time spent on the beach, visiting places of interest and walking - all optional. We will probably eat out each evening so this cost needs to be added, but will shop for breakfast and probably for packed lunch.

HARVESTERS LONG WEEKEND at OKEHAMPTON, DEVON - FRIDAY 26th to MONDAY 29th NOVEMBER 2010

Join us for a weekend with a difference at the Manor House Hotel, Okehampton for 4 days in November 2010. 

The venue is located on a hillside overlooking Dartmoor, with fabulous views, excellent cuisine and amazing facilities. Event open to Christian singles & their friends (single or married). Pleasant, comfortable surroundings with access to the many included facilities. 

It includes full board twin ensuite accommodation and a huge variety of sports and crafts. There are indoor swimming pools, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, ten-pin bowling, squash, badminton, golf, led Dartmoor walks, dancing and sports tuition etc. Deposit required £35-00 Balance £133-00 (postdated 26.09.2010) = £168-00. Or £159-60 with Early Payment Discount. 

Optional walks on Dartmoor. Excellent crafts facilities and tuition included too. The food is fantastic and everything, except your bar bill, is included in the price. Early booking is advisable for this very popular venue. Bookings are made on a first-come, first-served basis.

Twin ensuite price £168-00 (we've only twin ensuite rooms left now) or Early Payment Discount of 5% makes it just £159.60 if paid in full with one cheque by 28th Feb 2010.
