Welcome to the South East Christian singles web site

This web site aims to give details of events run by social groups of Christians who are either single, widowed or divorced, who live in the South East of England. The main groups represented by this site are in Essex, Herts (includes Middlesex) and Surrey, but the site also has links to other similar groups in the South of England. People who are not Christians are welcome to events as guests.

Each group tends to run one or two events a month with numbers of people attending events varying from a handful to about eighty people. The groups are neither businesses nor dating agencies, but just groups of friends and acquaintances who get together for various activities for fun, friendship and fellowship. We aim to encourage one another. Age ranges in different groups vary, but at present for the Essex, Herts and Surrey groups, most people coming to events will be in the age range thirties to fifties.

Activities include theatre trips, film evenings, restaurant meals and pub lunches, ten-pin bowling, cycling, visiting National Trust properties, local walks, barn dancing, Salsa and Ceroc events, concerts, musicals, shared holidays and more; also in previous years individuals from these groups have attended Christian events like Spring Harvest in France.

If you would like to come to an event and have not been to an event before, please find the event of interest on the events pages and then contact the relevant group. Many events will require booking or pre-payment, so it will still be necessary to make contact prior to the event. 

Once people have been on some events, there is an opportunity to join a private members website with affiliation to the local regional groups for Essex, Herts / Middlesex, and Surrey. The private allows members to contact each other and arrange events, as well as getting reminders about some events.
